EEEEEEEEEEEEEK! So close...

Bonsoir! "Get off, get off... G-GET OFF!...stay away like a very good wild man!" -Jane from Disney's Tarzan

Hahaha...oh wow... three-quarters done with packing! Woot!  I don't know how I am going to carry the 48.77890 pound luggage my mother finished stuffing to the max, but I will cross that bridge in less than 40 hours. I have a carry-on I still have to stuff and I just changed my purse so I could pack that in with the last minute additions on this little four month escapade.

Anyway, Tarzan is capturing my attention, its the part where the gorillas are in the camp making the song, and I want to relax. Fun fact: I have watched movies practically back to back with my bros for the past four-five days and we are on number 4 of the day? haha... I will miss this when I leave! But oh so much to look forward to upon my return!

I finally got on the ball about emailing my Contemporary Islam professor, and I got excited all over again about this program.  I can't wait to polish my research paper on the Women's Movement in the Middle East, hopefully it'll be something worth reading after the next four months.  More on that as the program starts!

Well, my brief respite from the world of packing is over.  This is the first time I have ever packed two days before a journey...I usually pack a few hours before...somehow I don't think my usual methods will work this time.  I have to update my iPhone's music selection, and choose which books to take... oh the trials.  Thank goodness for my imagination. Here's the daily picture.  I always thought this was funny, thanks Micah!

And so this blog is aptly named because I uploaded the pic, then realized that it was a mirrored image... you can't see it...so enjoy this instead.
