Six point five hours and counting...!

I had a lovely, but hectic day today. It really hit me that I was leaving and I nearly cried at every thing, silently saying my goodbyes to my family and to the sites of Fremont. Oh how I will miss it all!

Day started off at church (wonderfully uplifting!) then mix-up at the post-office for my passport, the doctors to pick up paper work, H&M to exchange a skirt, then back to post-office to wait in line for my passport. That was really fun to read, wasn't it?  I didn't know they had to take my real birth certificate! Haha, once again, the title of this blog is spot on! (Jk Mom...) I know it wasn't exciting to read all that but it was more for me to remember what I did than to entertain you anyway.

Went to a delicious lunch and had drinks (which I was feeling after a few sips and continued to make my head woozy for some time and contributed to my teary-eyedness) with the aunt and cousins, mother and sister :)

Nina Vicky and the delicious Blue Agaves...

And then the last minute paper signing and here I find myself, at a quarter past midnight still awake and finishing the last minute packing, i.e. toothbrush and face cream, phone/camera charger and not wanting to go.  I know its just my nerves, but this is the longest journey I've taken...and well, I've made my sentiments about this trip known so I won't blabber on about them.  The one thing I am consoling myself with is the fact that I am taking my favorite book, Crown Duel with me and no one can stop me.  That book, even though I paid for an ebook copy of it and have it on my phone, is my security blanket...laugh if you will, but I challenge you to think of the one thing you take with you on every extended trip! I also brought with me Name of the Wind and The Man in the Iron Mask and then feel like I can't NOT take Charlotte Bronte's Villette...haha silly things to worry about now, but takes my mind off the bigger things at hand.

I'm watching Return of the Jedi with my little bro right now and am cherishing how cute he looks! Alright well, shower, then relax, then get ready and then, I'm off to the plane! Next time I write, I will be in New York City!

Thanks to all of those who are making this trip possible! (My parents and siblings, Uncle Gus & Company, The Sanchez Bunch and Salgado Clan, and Mamalola-Happy Birthday!)

That was fun to write, it felt like a dedication in a book...!

Challenge: Count the number of "I"s that are written!
