A Day of Toes

This little piggy went to Macys, this little piggy had her first day of work at American, this little piggy watched her mom buy shoes, this little piggy walked in the suffocating heat of DC, and this little piggy cried WEE WEE WEE all the way home when she hit her toe against Gerry's shoe today and no longer has a toe nail.


The first piggy was Lolita, the second was Me.  Pobrecita Lolita! I'm not too sad cuz thats gonna be me soon! Anyway, so many of you are already grossed out and I am no longer going to talk about feet. 


Today was brutally hot in DC. My class had a speaker today and we had to walk a bit after getting off the metro, and I felt like I was melting!

I'm melting! I'm melting! DC is too hot!!

Dunno why this is what I thought of but I think it works! I was also late to my first day of work, and I ran after getting out of the metro. Well, I use ran loosely because I tried to run all the way up the elevator, but I ran out of breath half way through... and was practically crawling out of the metro's second flight of elevators and couldn't make it to my job without a really red face and an inability to breathe. In my defense, it was really hot...and I had the intentions of working out yesterday ...(and today...). Anyway, work was fun! And it wasn't for so long, so that was pretty good. 

Then I played scrabble and ate McDonald's...sadly the meal wasn't as cheap as it is at home (mom I don't forgive you yet for telling me that Big Mac's were cheap at the new McD's at home...).  But it was good, and I had some quality bonding time with Lily!  Then, I swear there was something in the fries, because I was literally way too happy...I was cracking myself up and was looking at iTunes' visualizer and was amazed...seriously, people should just sit and watch that (It was also my very first meal of the day so that may have been it... food=energy whoda thought?). Now, for the first time, I am unfortunately in the presence of a TV that has Jersey Shore on and I want to cry....

really??!!! This show is beyond description...! I'm just glad I don't watch it... i just heard: "I'm glad I don't have the burden of washing the dishes all night..." really, as if snooki even knows what work is...** 

The weekend is almost upon us and I am very happy to start the book I bought two days ago (saaad, I haven't read it yet...!) and it's a three day weekend and besides my hw, I have nothing to do. Hooray! Too bad Yoya is home else I would go to NY! That would have been fun.

OOOOHHH. OHHHHH! 

GOING THE DISTANCE comes out tomorrow!!! I am so HAPPY! yeee! Check it, this is what I'm watching!

Okay, well I think that's all for now... yesterday I did laundry... and chatted about musical tastes with Amalee some more, and family and I love talking about family!

Oh boy! Looking at these pics makes me think of the fact that I am going to graduate this year!!!! Oh man, i'm nearing the end of my college career for two years!! How exciting!
