Gaga Unapproved

So...
I officially give up on having fun!
Tonight was a bust, again. Sadly.
I think Gaga would like the
head piece...if it were a bit bigger

Soooo, from 5-12:30 I wasted my life. Just write: "I have not had a successful fun night". Thanks Amalee.  After my internship (I was falling asleep at the computer because I was in a hole in the wall near computers and was warm and unsupervised, but on the whole, it was great! More on that later when I am not pissed) I went to forever 21 where I spent the next two hours, trying on clothes and trying to figure out what the heck is "club" appropriate or Gaga approved. It was hard, but I used what lola taught me and went with the basics: a black shirt. Then I accessorized with a really cool headpiece.  Then I ran back to Tenley to eat, I stuffed my face, and then went to put my face on.   That was fun because I went for the pinup look, with cat eye liner, and i thought it came out pretty well, and I did my hair in like 20 minutes because I was running out of time (sadly, I used a buttload of hairspray, I am getting addicted!)
We look so good!
Lily and I picked up friends, went to the metro, got off, walked to UltraClub and then trouble ensued. We werent on the guest list as we had thought, and then we had to wait for this guy to come, and then we had to pay to get in,  and because I didnt have money I was about to go.  But one of the group payed for us, and  I went in, and let me tell you.  I was not feelin it. I was pissed because Lily and Maria left and I had wanted everyone to be there. And I don't like not having money. Then it was an 18+ club and ooooohhh kay, there were so many younguns who were obnoxious...couples making out, grinding. ugh.  me? Jealous? no...
Then after 45 minutes, one of the remaining four wanted to know if i wanted to catch the metro and i said yes.  Then I was back here by 12:30.  I fumed to my roommates already, so now I am venting to the rest of the world.  Its not even that the club in and of itself was bad, it was just that I had hyped it up so much that it was destined to fail. Plus, I couldnt dance with the purse I had...that and there was a space behind me so that I felt like yelling "what do i SMELL?!"and I was wearing heels.  "My give up, Myyy give up"*. I will stick to my ideas of fun: dressing up for dinner, or going to a bookstore.

Anyway, I start really early tomorrow, and should take a shower since I was around people. who were sweating.  I picked up more of a sweat running to the metro than I did dancing.

Okay, things you have to look forward to: I am going to tell you about my internship, my depressingly lonely lunch (not too bad, especially since I had my book) and thats it, I think.  My parents are in Mexico! How fun! okay, well, smelly must go.

This sums up my experience in trying to have fun: I am always at the cusp of fun, and others are actually having it.
At least my makeup is ok...sad
